No restrictions regarding age, nationality, gender, or experience as a butler.
大会目的
Aim
執事としての卓越した技能・知識・品格を競い合い、ホスピタリティのプロフェッショナルたちが集う大会です。執事業界を代表する世界各国の参加者が、幅広い専門性と豊かな人間性を発揮し、その技能を発展させることを目的とします。
This is a competition where hospitality professionals gather to compete on the basis of outstanding butler skills, knowledge, and dignity. Participants from around the world who are representative of the butler industry will demonstrate their wide-ranging expertise and rich humanity, and aim to further develop their skills.
予選概要
Qualifying Round Overview
日程：2025年4月1日～4月30日
形式：全てオンラインで実施
内容：
オンライン筆記試験（エチケット、文化知識、資産運用基礎知識、プロトコールなど）
オンライン実演実技（シミュレーションやロールプレイングを通じた実技審査）
即興対応テスト（問題解決力や柔軟性を測る場面を想定）
ワインの継ぎ方およびサービング技術の評価
予選結果：5月中旬に本選進出者を発表
※筆記試験は、日本語もしくは英語で受験可能です
Dates: April 1st to April 30th, 2025
Format: All online
Contents:
Online written exam (etiquette, cultural knowledge, basic asset management knowledge, protocol, etc.)
Online practical demonstration (practical assessment through simulation and role-playing)
Improvisation test (simulating situations to measure problem-solving ability and flexibility)
Evaluation of wine pouring and serving techniques
Qualification results: Finalists will be announced in mid-May
*Written exams can be taken in either Japanese or English

会場：東京国際フォーラム（東京、日本）
内容：
実務シミュレーション（来客対応、ディナーサービス、トラブル発生時の対処など）
ロールプレイングによる顧客対応テスト
プレゼンテーションと身だしなみ、所作の美しさの評価
インタビューやパネルディスカッションによるサービスマインドとホスピタリティ精神の確認
富裕層に関係のある知識のテスト（ワインや高級車、絵画やプライベートジェットの基礎知識
資産管理 や税制、エンターテイメントの知識）
マルチタスクテストや緊急事態対応テスト
言語：本選での実技発表やプレゼンテーションは、日本語もしくは英語で行うことが可能です。
審査基準：各審査項目に基づく点数と審査員による最終総合評価に基づく

Contents:
Practical simulation (visitor service, dinner service, dealing with problems, etc.)
Customer service test through role-playing
Evaluation of presentation, grooming, and beautiful manners
Confirmation of service mind and hospitality spirit through interviews and panel discussions
Test of knowledge related to the wealthy (basic knowledge of wine, luxury cars, paintings, and private jets, asset management, tax system, entertainment knowledge)
Multitasking test and emergency response test
Language: Practical presentations and presentations in the final round can be done in Japanese or English.
Judging criteria: Based on the scores for each evaluation item and the final overall evaluation by the judges

本大会では、執事に求められる高度な専門知識とサービスマインドに加え、人格や倫理観をも含む総合的な評価を行います。
ホスピタリティ精神とサービスマインド
素直さと忠誠心：執事としての誠実な姿勢、顧客への忠誠心。
倫理観：高い職業倫理と道徳観を備え、職務に対する信頼を築けるか。
人間性と品格：共感力、謙虚さ、内面的な人間力を発揮できるか。
エチケットとマナー：礼儀作法、国際的なテーブルマナー、ボディランゲージ。
プロトコール（儀礼）：王室、大使館レベルの礼儀や、フォーマルな場での対応。
会話力とコミュニケーション：柔軟で品格ある会話力、聴き方、言葉遣い。
身だしなみと所作の優雅さ：清潔感と統一感、所作の美しさ。
管理能力とオーガナイズスキル：タイムマネジメントや細部への気配り。

In this competition, in addition to the highly specialized knowledge and service-mindedness required of a butler, a comprehensive evaluation will be conducted that also takes into account personality and ethics.
Hospitality and service-mindedness
Obedience and loyalty: Sincere attitude as a butler, loyalty to customers.
Ethics: Possess high professional ethics and morals, and can build trust in the job?
Humanity and dignity: Can you demonstrate empathy, humility, and inner human strength?
Etiquette and manners: Courtesy, international table manners, body language.
Protocol: Royal and embassy-level etiquette, and behavior in formal settings.
Conversational ability and communication: Flexible and dignified conversational ability, listening skills, and language choice.
Elegant appearance and behavior: Cleanliness, uniformity, and beautiful behavior.
Management and organizational skills: Time management and attention to detail.
Knowledge and culture:
Basic knowledge about the wealthy: Knowledge about wine, luxury cars, private jets, paintings and mansion management.
Basic knowledge of asset management and finance: Knowledge about stocks, real estate, physical assets such as gold, silver and platinum, cryptocurrencies, etc.
Knowledge about tax systems, laws and entertainment: Tax systems in countries around the world, basic legal knowledge related to the wealthy, and basic knowledge about the entertainment industry.

・執事としてふさわしい服装
・ワインとワイングラス
※オンライン予選において、ワインのサービング技術を評価するため、参加者の方でこれらをご準備ください。
Those who participate in the online qualifiers will need to prepare the following items:

*Please prepare these items yourself as your wine serving skills will be evaluated during the online qualifiers.
